Swedish Rosette Irons

I received my Ursula Holiday Rosette Irons promptly and in good condition. I made a batch from the provided recipe in the box and these things tasted wonderful. The only problem I can see with using it is that the process goes rather slowly because of only making one at a time...altho you can buy other irons with TWO forms I am glad I didn't get one of those. You have enough to do to get one done coax it off of the form keep the iron hot and dipping again to make another rosette. In the end I sprinkled them all with powdered sugar....and what a treat! If you buy this product be prepared to make a double batch as these rosettes are irresistable! I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the forms could have been a little bigger than they are but I had no trouble loosening the rosettes from the forms....just make sure you keep them oiled (by dipping in the frying oil). This would definitely be a good two-person activity for Christmas!!!More detail ...
